Two former gang members are taking a stand against gang tensions in Palmerston North

Two former gang members are taking a stand against gang tensions in Palmerston North

Matthew Ngatai Te Moananui and Hemi Davidson have organised a March For Peace which will run between Legacy Church and the Highbury Shops from midday.

It follows a spate of gang related incidents in the city over recent months including the killings of Mongrel Mob members Raniel Kiu and Hori Gage.

Last month there was also the violent depatching of a Black Power member that saw his finger cut off.
