'Ted Lasso' star Brendan Hunt has become a father for a second time

The 51-year-old actor - who is the co-creator of the Apple TV+ comedy-drama, in which he portrays Coach Beard - and his fiancée Shannon Nelson welcomed their second child into the world on Friday (01.03.24), and the pair have named their baby boy Archibald, or Archie for short

Brendan shared several pictures on Instagram, and wrote: "We were supposed to go to @cedarssinai today to have a baby. Instead, we got home today, because our fourth family member felt like rolling up three days early. Say hello to Archibald Felix Nelson Hunt (Archie will do), born Friday March 1st, coming in at 9+lbs. (sic)"

The actor revealed Archie is in "perfect health", and Shannon - who he also has two-year-old son Sean with - is "recovering peacefully" following the birth.

He added: "He's in perfect health, and his weary hero of a mother @snoopshann is recovering peacefully. He looks just like his brother; not sure about hair color yet tho. He's met his bro and his grandmother and he's even watched his first Arsenal game. He's beautiful and perfect and we are in love. I don't know if he's our George (youngest Beatle) or our Ringo (last Beatle to join) but we are now a Fabulous Foursome and ready to rock forever. (And as you can see in the last pic, he also looks a little like his dad.) (sic)"

In June, Brendan also took to Instagram to reveal he and Shannon had got engaged after he popped the question.

He wrote on Instagram: "The majestic @snoopshann, so rarely photographed in her natural habitat, captured here in the act of saying "yes." (sic)"

Shannon added: "We are a family. A beautiful wonderful family and will be for always. Some folks have assumed we had already done this, but truth be told we had other priorities in becoming a family. Now it feels right. I get to marry this beautiful man. I get to call him my husband and to be his wife and I am the luckiest."
