A lack of international competition has allowed Lewis Clareburt to refine elements of his technique

A lack of international competition has allowed Lewis Clareburt to refine elements of his technique

The Commonwealth Games and World Championship bronze medalist continues to train in Wellington, with little international competition to occur this year due to Covid-19.

The 21-year-old says the extra time in the pool has seen him get quicker in his preferred 400 metres medley.

Clareburt says his training hasn't changed too much since the capital went into level two, just that there's stricter protocols at the pool.
