    Tornado strikes several houses in New Plymouth

    Police and fire and emergency New Zealand have set up a command centre after a Tornado has struck several houses in New Plymouth


    It's in the Belt Road, Aubyn Street area

    Several rooves have been torn off and power lines are down as a result of the
    twister which struck this afternoon

    Luckily no-one has been injured
