    The Los Angeles Lakers have kept their NBA basketball season alive with a 119-108 win over the Denver Nuggets in game 4 of their first-round Western Conference playoff match-up at home


    The Nuggets still lead the series 3-1.

    Earlier, the West's top-seeded Thunder took a 3-nil series lead against the Pelicans following a 106-85 victory on the road.

    In the Eastern Conference, the number one ranked Celtics beat the Heat in Miami 104-84 to take a 2-1 series lead.
