Conrad Murray sends best to Randy

Doctor Conrad Murray - who is facing a charge of involuntary manslaughter relating to the death of Michael Jackson - has sent his best wishes to Randy Jackson, who was hospitalised this week.

Doctor Conrad Murray has sent his best wishes to Randy Jackson, who was hospitalised this week.

The physician - who is facing a charge of involuntary manslaughter relating to the death of Randy's pop legend brother Michael Jackson last year - was shocked to discover Randy had been taken to the Huntington Memorial Hospital, in Pasadena, on Tuesday (15.06.10) with chest pains and hopes he will be OK.

A representative for Murray told X17Online: "Dr. Murray feels so sorry for Randy and the family. He knows the tremendous amount of stress they've been under. He wishes them all the best. Dr. Murray knew them before the death of Michael and he has nothing but great memories of them. He, too, is anxious to find out who is responsible for Michael's death."

On Monday (14.06.10), Randy had been in attendance at a Los Angeles courthouse with his family for a hearing to determine whether or not Murray should have his medical license revoked because of the involuntary manslaughter charge.

The 57-year-old medic - who has been accused of administering lethal amounts of Propofol and other drugs to Michael shortly before his passing on June 25 2009 - was allowed to keep his license after Judge Michael Pastor ruled he did not have the power to overturn the decision previously made by another judge.

Murray was pleased with the result and he is in a much better state of mind than he was last June in the wake of Michael's passing.

The representative added: "Dr. Murray is working as much as he can and has seen as many patients as he can fit in. He's in a much better mental state right now as compared to this time last year. Last June, he was mourning the loss of his friend and patient. Plus, for the first six months after Michael's death, he wasn't able to work because he was basically under house arrest due to the media scrutiny. Now he's working he's doing so much better."

Murray is due in court for a preliminary hearing on August 23.

If convicted of involuntary manslaughter, he faces up to four years in prison.
