    Two companies are making amends after workers fainted from carbon monoxide exposure


    Worksafe says three people were using a forklift inside a chiller when they were exposed to the gas.

    The forklift operator worked for NZ Hot House, while the other two staff worked for Airtech Limited.

    After working in the chiller for two hours, one of the Airtech staff become ill and stopped working.

    The other two kept staff kept working, but later fainted.

    Both companies have made payments to the victims.
