Ellie Goulding celebrated her birthday at a bowling alley with Dougie Poynter.
The 'Burn' hitmaker - who turned 28 on December 30 - was unable to mark the occasion as she was heading to the US for a gig and opted to celebrate with her 27-year-old beau and a group of friends at Basement nightclub in Miami over the weekend instead.

The blonde beauty - who has dated Skrillex and DJ Greg James in the past - shared a photo of the happy couple on her Instagram account before they headed out for the evening.
Ellie kept her fans updated throughout the night by posting a number of birthday snaps on the picture sharing site, including an image of the group enjoying dinner and a photo of her enormous birthday cake, decorated with the words 'Happy Birthday Ellie'.
Later, the singer shared a photo of the club's rainbow lit bowling alley before hitting the dance floor with the 'Air Guitar' hitmaker.
Meanwhile, Ellie recently admitted she was left shocked when her close pals treated her to a surprise birthday bash last month.
She previously said: "I'm flying on my birthday to do a show in New Orleans.
"I got a surprise birthday. I was like, 'What's going on? My birthday isn't for three weeks.' It was awesome."
