Police say there's no risk stemming from last week's fatal shooting to those heading to Auckland's Ponsonby Road

Police say there's no risk stemming from last week's fatal shooting to those heading to Auckland's Ponsonby Road

33-year-old Robert Horne was killed by Killer Beez member, Hone Kay-Selwyn - last Sunday night.

The killer was found dead in the following days - a funeral will likely be held on Monday, which police are planning for.

Auckland City West Commander, Inspector Alisse Robertson says they'll have extra reassurance patrols this weekend.

She says the person deemed responsible is deceased, so the investigation's continuing but there's no risk to the public from this incident.
