    Zooey Deschanel's guy humour

Zooey Deschanel likes telling dirty jokes and has developed an appreciation for "guy humour" since working on 'New Girl'.

Zooey Deschanel likes telling dirty jokes.

The 31-year-old actress enjoys working with a male-dominated cast on 'New Girl' has helped her appreciate "guy humour" more.

She said: "I love being on set with the guys. It's wonderful – I really enjoy it. The actors are really fun to work with. We have a great time on set. And I'm on set so much of the time that it does actually feel like I'm living with those guys!"

"I've always been really girlie. I think it's definitely made me understand guy humour a little bit more. I can tell a dirty joke!"

Zooey tries hard to be "normal" but has learned not to worry about her quirky image.

She told Britain's OK! magazine: "You know, I always wanted to be normal! I try so hard to be normal, and then people still say I'm offbeat! Being an actor, you realise you have a persona and that you have to accept it. I'm just glad they have something nice to say, it's flattering."
