    Anna Chlumsky is pregnant.

The 'Veep' star is expecting her second child with husband Shaun So - who she has two-year-old daughter Penelope with - and admitted the couple are planning to go on holiday before their new addition arrives.

Speaking in a Facebook video chat with Travel + Leisure magazine, she said: "Being expecting as I am we're going to take it low-key and try to get a beach vacation in pretty soon.

"I really do try to take a good vacation at least once a year. When my husband and I got married we made a promise to ourselves that we would use our passport at least once a year because we just love doing that.

"We've kept that up happily even having a toddler. She's got a couple of stamps on her passport already."

The 35-year-old actress - who shot to fame as main character Vada Sultenfuss in 1991 movie 'My Girl' alongside Macaulay Culkin - recently admitted she is enjoying motherhood and loves spending time with her daughter and watching the little one growing up.

She said: "It's awesome. I love it. She's becoming her own person and it's delicious to watch.

"She's really fun and really sweet. And she's very determined. I love all those things about her. If she wasn't my daughter, I'd want to hang out with her still. She's really good company."
