    Tangled drove Mandy Moore ‘crazy’

Mandy Moore has revealed she found it frustrating recording her lines for new animated movie ‘Tangled’ in a sound booth alone but added she is proud of the “tough” character she plays.

Mandy Moore was driven “crazy” by her new movie ‘Tangled’.

The 26-year-old actress stars as Rapunzel in the animated Disney movie and admitted even though she loved the experience, she was frustrated when she realised she would be recording her voiceover in a sound booth on her own.

Mandy explained: “I think I was more, slightly disappointed initially that the actors weren't going to be working together because I just thought it would be fun, you know the camaraderie of the gang all being together.

“You do feel slightly crazy at the end of the day, like you've been talking to yourself for a couple of hours but it's such a blast to use your imagination like that.”

While Mandy had fun making the movie, she also revealed she is proud of her character’s strong personality and warned movie goers not to expect a typical “damsel in distress”.

She told BANG Showbiz: “She's tough. She's not the damsel in distress waiting to be rescued which I love. I love that she has a personality, she's feisty, she's fearless she is determined, she's a driven young woman, she has an ultimate dream and goal and nothing is going to get in her way of seeing that through. I had a lot of fun playing that character who I think is really a good role for young women.”
