Judi Dench keen to work with Clint Eastwood

Dame Judi Dench has always wanted to work with Clint Eastwood and hopes to star in James Bond movies until she dies.

Dame Judi Dench always wanted to work with Clint Eastwood.

The legendary British actress is preparing to start filming ‘J. Edgar’ – the biopic of former FBI director J. Edgar Hoover – alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and admits her main motivation for accepting the role was having the actor-turned-director at the helm.

She said: “I'm flying off next week to do a movie with Clint Eastwood, I play J. Edgar Hoover's mother. What attracted me to the role? Clint Eastwood of course!”

Judi, 76, also revealed she wants to continue playing secret service agent M in the James Bond franchise until she dies.

Speaking at the South Bank Sky Arts Awards, she told BANG Showbiz: “I love Bond. I get to work with Daniel Craig on location and wear some rather sharp suits. I'll do it as long as they ask if I'm alive that long.”

The ‘Nine’ actress also admitted she rarely knows what her next career move will be until she receives an interesting script.

Asked about her forthcoming plans, she said: “I never know the answer to that, I just wait until someone thinks of a good part for me.”
