Nicole Kidman doesn't like to use her status to queue-jump.

The Oscar-winning actress - who lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband Keith Urban and their children, Sunday Rose, two, and one-month-old Faith - admitted while the family love going out for dinner together, they don't like to receive "special treatment".

She said: "We actually go to this place in Nashville called The Copper Kettle. It's like a meat and three, which means there's some form of meat and three vegetables, real down to earth.

"We don't like to jump lines. It's not cool, we just like to be like the locals and get no special treatment."

The 43-year-old star - who produces and stars in new film 'Rabbit Hole', which deals with themes of loss within a family - also explained she has experienced an overwhelming reaction from other mothers at her daughter's school who can indentify with the movie.

Nicole added to BBC Radio 2: "I had a woman come up to me at my daughters school and just hug me. She said, 'I just feel so close to you now'. That's never happened to this degree before.

"I mean, young girls have wanted to come up and hold my hand because of 'Moulin Rouge' but it's never been so visceral before where people just want to hold on to you and share their experiences with you."
