Kellan Lutz missed dogs on Twilight set

Kellan Lutz couldn’t wait for filming on the final two ‘Twilight Saga’ movies to end because he missed his pet dogs, Kola and Kevin.

Kellan Lutz couldn’t wait for the “never ending” filming on the ‘Twilight Saga’ to finish because he was desperate to see his dogs.

While the former model – who plays Emmett Cullen in the vampire franchise – will miss working with his co-stars, who include Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, he admitted the mammoth seven-month shoot in Canada for the final two movies ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ parts one and two took their toll when he couldn’t see his pet pooches Kola and Kevin.

He explained to E! Online: "Frankly, it was seven months that never ended. It's hard to be too long away from my home, my friends and my dogs.

"I love my dogs. And when you are in Canada, it's hard to get them by air. Ashley [Greene] did, and I was even more broken hearted for not having my dogs with me."

One reason why Kellan, 25, may have been missing his multi-coloured, mixed breed dog Kola is because she helps him fight off ‘Twilight obsessed fans.

Speaking about how he deals with fame, he has previously said: “I can run fast now! I also have a dog that doesn't like females. She's pretty protective!”
