Kylie Minogue is recording her new album at Abbey Road and it will be out in 2013.

The pop superstar has started work on material at the legendary London studio, which was made famous by The Beatles, and insists the LP will be finished by next year.

Kylie - who will release 'K25' this year, a greatest hits album celebrating her 25 years in the music business - admits it is really special to be making music at Abbey Road because of its incredible history.

She told the Metro newspaper: "I have started on new music already. It should be ready for 2013.

"While we are celebrating 'K25' - 25 years since 'Locomotion' - it's really nice to be working on new stuff and different interpretations of the old hits. It's been recorded at Abbey Road and we will see what comes out.

"I thought, 'How much difference can a studio make?' but it is a beautiful studio (Abbey Road). The sound is just gorgeous - you know you are on hallowed ground."

The 43-year-old singer is teaming up with several big names for the new tracks but she is staying tight-lipped on who they are.

Kylie - who released her last studio album, 'Aphrodite', in 2010 - said: "It's a few different people and it's going to be really exciting and different - always something different."

The 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' singer was at the BRIT Awards at London's The 02 on Tuesday night (21.02.12) to present Adele with the Best Female Solo Artist prize and in two weeks she heads back to her native Australia to perform at the Sydney Mardi Gras for the first time in 14 years.
