Hugh Hefner wants Margot Robbie to pose for Playboy.

The 87-year-old media mogul thinks the 'Wolf of Wall Street' star - who stars alongside Leonardo DiCaprio as the wife of banker Jordan Belfort in the critically-acclaimed movie - would be the perfect Playmate, despite not knowing her name yet.

He told Us Weekly magazine: "We always want the latest, most popular girl of the moment, and that changes week to week.

"The girl that plays [Jordan Belfort's] wife in [Wolf of Wall Street] is very, very pretty.

"She should be in Playboy! Send her a message! We're ready for her. She would be great."

The movie buff - who holds regular cinema screenings at the Playboy mansion with 27-year-old wife Crystal Harris - is a fan of several this year's Oscar nominees.

He said: "I loved American Hustle. Wolf of Wall Street and [Leonardo] DiCaprio in it. He was very, very good."

Although the Playboy founder has been admiring Margot's figure, he is blissfully happy with Crystal and says after two previous marriages - to Mildred Williams, the mother of his children Christie and David, for 10 years until 1959, and Kimberley Conrad, who he wed in 1990 and has sons Marston and Cooper with before they separated in in 1992 - he has finally found "true love".

He said: "It's wonderful. It's better than anything I could possibly imagine. You know, I tried marriage twice before but there's no comparison. This is the real deal. And to find true love at this age? It's remarkable."
