Zoe Saldana has splashed out $8.7 million on a new Los Angeles home.

The 'Star Trek' actress and her artist husband Marco Perego, both 37, are set to move into a 6,400 square foot home in Beverly Hills with their 18-month-old twins Bowie and Cy, TMZ reports.

Zoe's new home is situated in an exclusive gated community and counts Jennifer Lawrence, Cameron Diaz, Nicole Richie, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis and Adele among its residents.

Meanwhile, Zoe - who married Marco in 2013 after a whirlwind romance - recently revealed it was love at first sight when she met him.

She said: "I know people don't believe in it; I didn't believe in it. I'm a very Sigmund Freud person, I'm very logical.

"But that - I'm OK not having an explanation for that. Because I don't need to explain that. It was enough that I felt it. And that was it."

The actress also recalled the moment she set her eyes on Marco, admitting she felt a "vibration".

She added: "The spark was there before I even saw his face. I just saw him from behind, with like a man bun and a leather jacket. He had a sweater that draped out of the leather jacket.

"It was 6:30 in the morning, I was on a flight to New York. And I can't even describe to you, it was a vibration. He turned in that moment, because he felt the vibration as well."

And after welcoming their twins, Zoe admitted they have a "tribe" of family and friends to help them.

She said: "We have a tribe. Whenever we're overwhelmed -- and when you have twins, you get overwhelmed quite easily and really quickly - you just send out an SOS, man, and they will cancel. They will find a nanny for their kids. They'll bring the kids, and then we end up kind of relaxing.

"I was surrounded by way too many moms who are always like, 'Oh my God, I got it so hard.' And my sister was always like, 'It's a piece of cake. It's super awesome.' So I stuck to her, and it's been fun."
