    Naomi Campbell’s impending engagement

British Supermodel Naomi Campbell’s billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin is preparing to propose to her.

Naomi Campbell’s billionaire boyfriend is preparing to propose to her.

Vladimir Doronin – who has been dating the British supermodel for several months – hinted he was ready to ask her to marry him at Naomi’s recent charity catwalk show Fashion for Relief, but stopped short of revealing when he will pop the question.

He said: “Naomi is wonderful. Will I put a ring on her finger? Maybe very soon.”

Later, Vladamir spent £25,000 on a couture gown for the model during a charity auction, prompting her to run and kiss him to show her appreciation.

Naomi, 38, recently revealed she refuses to discuss marriage in case it scares her lover.

She will not even comment on the state of her relationship in cases it worries the Russian businessman.

When asked if a wedding was in the pipeline, Naomi replied: “Oh no, no pressuring that poor man like that. He’s a wonderful gentleman and he’s got great qualities – and that’s what’s wonderful about him and that’s all I’ll say.”

Despite her reluctance to discuss her private life, the model has revealed she wants to start a family “in the traditional way”.

She said: "I don't want to have a child on my own. I know you can but I don't want to raise one the way I was raised. Look, my mother did an amazing job but I would like to try it in the traditional way. I have a traditional dream like every other girl."
