    Britney Spears wins restraining order

Sam Lutfi, Britney Spears' former manager, has been issued with a three-year restraining order which bans him from going within 100 yards of the star.

Britney Spears' former manager has been banned from approaching her for three years.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aviva Bobb ruled Sam Lutfi must stay at least 100 yards away from Britney, and cannot attempt to contact her via email, phone or mail.

He has also been ordered to stay away from Britney's sons Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two.

Lutfi - who previously told the court Britney is suffering "emotional distress" under her father Jamie's strict rule - is planning to challenge the ruling.

His attorney Bryan Freedman said: "We absolutely will appeal this ruling. Never before in history has a restraining order been issued against someone who answered another person's cries for help."

Lawyer Jon Eardley - who previously questioned why Britney's father Jamie was made co-conservator of her professional and personal affairs last year - was also made the subject of the restraining order.

The ruling does not extend to Britney's parents Jamie and Lynne, even though Lynne had requested protection.

Jamie filed for a restraining order against both men earlier this year, claiming they had harassed Britney, 27.

The ruling follows evidence given by Jamie and Britney's hairstylist and bodyguard, who all claimed the 'Womanizer' singer was scared of Lutfi.

Last month, Britney's former boyfriend paparazzi photographer Adnan Ghalib was also given a three-year restraining order barring him from seeing the star.
