Courtney Love asks Keith Richards’ son for addiction help

Courtney Love has contacted Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards’ son, Marlon, to ask him for help with her “addictions”.

Courtney Love has contacted Keith Richards’ son to ask him for help with her “addictions”.

The Hole rocker posted a message to clean-living Marlon Richards on his Facebook page, saying she is packing her bags and heading from her New York home to the South West English county of Dorset to get help.

In her post she asked Marlon to help her find an “addictions” doctor who could to visit her “where I'm staying in Dorset, twice, three times a week".

According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she added: "It's an emergency, I only have the house for a week. Hurry Marlon, I need to pack for UK now. I have PA and minder, need nurses and Dr to kick some nasty s**t (sic)."

It is not clear what “addictions” Courtney was referring to, though she has in the past talked about problems with cocaine and heroin.

Courtney also posted the number of her suite at the Mercer Hotel in New York where she was staying.

Marlon – son of hard partying Rolling Stones rocker Keith and Anita Pallenberg - posted a message back, saying Courtney’s request wasn’t “my forte”, but adding “am seeing Anita tonight, will see what can be done via her."

In April this year, Courtney - whose husband Kurt Cobain took his own life in 1994 – admitted she can be “self destructive” and had thought about jumping out of a window.

She said: “I had an episode two weeks ago when I was tempted to jump out of a window. I've always been pretty self-destructive. I need protection from myself."

The ‘Celebrity Skin’ singer also turned up looking “slightly dazed” to a New York film premiere at the start of the month, and the next night gave an impromptu concert at the Mercer hotel lobby, while “slightly drunk”.

She also bemused one reporter after turning up to an interview naked, saying she was drunk and on anti-depressants.
