Alexa Chung is dating Hurts star

Alexa Chung is dating Hurts star Theo Hutchcraft but both are keen to take things between them slowly.

Alexa Chung is dating Hurts star Theo Hutchcraft.

The model-and-presenter – who split from Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner earlier this year after four years together – has been secretly dating the singer for the past few weeks although both are keen to take things slow.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "It's still early days but Theo is really keen on Alexa. They met at the American music festival Coachella in April and Theo has been spending a lot of time in New York, where Alexa lives.

"They share the same interests – music and fashion – and get on really well. But the relationship is still raw and they're not putting too much pressure on each other to make it work at this stage."

Alexa and Alex announced their four-year relationship was over in July but were hopeful of remaining friends.

A source said: "They want to stay friends so it's best to split now. They've been through a lot together and all their friends are sad they've called time as a couple.

"It was best that they both got out now and saved their friendship."

Insiders blamed the pair's working commitments for causing them to drift apart because Alexa, 27, is based in New York, while Alex spends most of his time on the road with his band.
