Girls Aloud are recording new material
The girl band - whose last album 'Out of Control' was released in 2008 before they went on hiatus in 2009 - have returned to the studio with producers Xenomania, who wrote most of their biggest hits including 'The Promise' and 'Something Kinda Ooooh', to mark their 10th anniversary.

Naming the band members, the producers tweeted: "Prepping to go in the studio with @NadineCoyleNow for new Girls Aloud sessions (sic).
"New GA sessions with @NicolaRoberts, @KimberelyJWalsh @SarahNicHarding in the studio over the last week (sic)."
Nadine Coyle then confirmed the reunion by tweeting: "Tody in stufio again making magic with the original dream team Brian Higgins and Xenomania. Be prepared to be amazed."
While there was no mention of fifth member Cheryl Cole, she is believed to be involved in reunion plans.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's early days yet but all the girls including Cheryl have been in the studio over the last few weeks. Obviously when you've got five girls in at once, talking and trying to come up with things it doesn't work. "So they've been going in groups or solo and once they've got some ideas together, that's when the recording process will come together."
It is believed the material will be released in November, followed by an anniversary tour.
