Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are being kept awake all night by their newborn daughter

The couple welcomed their second child, Penelope Scotland, into the world earlier this month and while they're smitten with the little girl, she is not sleeping well.

A source close to the pair - who also have two-year-old son, Mason, together - said: "Their first baby was really easy so they weren't prepared for this, she's been keeping them up all night crying so they have both been on edge.

"Kourtney and Scott are totally frazzled though, they have been losing a lot of sleep and that is stressful on any couple."

However, Scott - who is famed for his wild past - has surprised Kourtney by helping out with the children more than she thought he would.

The source added to RadarOnline: "No one can believe it, but Scott has actually decided to do the right thing, for once.

"When the baby was first born they came together, Kourtney demanded he help and surprisingly Scott came through."

Kourtney, 33, and 29-year-old Scott recently revealed they are in therapy in order to keep their relationship strong.

She said: "He's grown so much over the years. I love seeing him as a dad - he's great with Mason - and I'm not saying that we're perfect. We go to therapy, which helps us a lot. I think we're always working to better ourselves, which I think a lot of people can do.

"I could go into the therapy session despising him, but by the time I leave - even if he's not in there - I feel like I understand him so much more."
