Sir Paul McCartney's Aston Martin DB5 is up for sale
The Beatles star's 1964 car is one of 93 classic automobiles up for auction today (31.10.12) in London's Battersea park and is estimated to sell for between £300,000 and £380,000.

Paul ordered the car fresh from the production line shortly after the band finished their film 'A Hard Day's Night' and right before they took off on their world tour in 1964.
Peter Wallman, who is co-running the auction, believes the vehicle could fetch a huge price if the right buyer is interested.
He said: "The Aston Martin DB5 is one of the most iconic cars in the world, driven by James Bond. And we're talking about one of the most iconic super groups of the 1960s.
"We've sold a couple of cars owned by Steve McQueen which have sold for eight, nine, 10 times what they would be worth if they were just regular cars.
"I'm not going to predict that happening here but if somebody collects Beatles memorabilia and just really wanted to have Paul McCartney's Aston Martin then it could go crazy."
In September 1967 an article in Time magazine described Paul, who was 25 at the time, as a "bachelor" who is "a movie addict, loves 'the look of London' and tools around town in a spiffy blue Aston Martin DB5".
The DB5 is finished off with a new black leather interior which has replaced the original upholstery, though a swatch of original material is still visible if the new owner wishes to recreate it.
