Michael Fassbender and Colin Firth are to star in 'Genius'
The 'Shame' actor will portray writer Thomas Wolfe while the 'Kings Speech' star is to appear as his friend, renowned editor Max Perkins, in the movie, which is based on A. Scott Berg's National Book Award-winning biography 'Max Perkins: Editor of Genius'.

Michael Grandage will direct from a script adapted by 'Skyfall' writer John Logan.
'Genius' will be produced by James Bierman for the Michael Grandage Co. Bierman served as ex ecutive producer at Donmar and formed MGC with Grandange.
Glen Basner of FilmNation - who are shopping the project around studios - said: "'Genius' promises to be a beautifully performed, electrifying and deeply moving film.
"With such a strong creative team led by Michael Grandage, John Logan and James Bierman and with Firth and Fassbender on board, who are undoubtedly two of the finest screen actors working today, we can't wait to introduce the film to buyers at the AFM [American Film Market]."
Colin can next be seen in 'The Railway Man' opposite Nicole Kidman and 'The Devil's Knot' with Reese Witherspoon, while Michael has several projects in the pipeline, including 'The Counselor' and 'Twelve Years a Slave'.
