Brody Jenner skipped his little sister's sweet sixteen party to celebrate his own birthday early in Las Vegas.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who joined the series this season in a bid to repair his strained relationship with his father Bruce Jenner, was noticeably absent from his half-sister Kendall Jenner's star-studded bash in the AT&T Centre in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

The reality TV star, who is set to turn 30 on Tuesday, opted to toast his own milestone instead a few days early with friends at Hyde nightclub at the Bellagio Hotel, according to the MailOnline website. It is not known why the siblings, who have always appeared to be close on their E! reality series, decided to celebrate their birthdays separately on the same night.

Kylie turned 16 last Saturday but waited a week before hosting her huge 'Alice in Wonderland' themed party.

While Brody didn't attend, his stepsiblings Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian were both present.

Other guests included Kylie's boyfriend Jaden Smith, his sister Willow Smith, 'Glee' star Naya Rivera, and rappers Drake and Big Sean, who performed.

Kendall Jenner, 18, Scott Disick, 30, and Kylie's parents Bruce and Kris Jenner also helped her celebrate.

It was previously reported that Brody, who were primarily raised by his mother Linda Thompson and ex-stepfather David Foster, was eager for his father to divorce Kris.

A source previously said: "Brody has had a lifetime of this and he holds Kris responsible for Bruce not being a bigger part of his life when he was a child."
