Jamie King has shared the first photo of her baby son.

The 'Hart of Dixie' actress waited two months to post an adorable snap of her wide-eyed tot James-Knight on Instagram, gushing about how "blessed" she and her husband Kyle Newman feel to have him in their lives.

She wrote in the Instagram picture's accompanying caption: "Welcome to the world our son James-Knight Newman! @kyle_newman and I have been filled with joy since we have been blessed with his birth. We love you! (sic)"

Filmmaker Kyle followed suit, posting a cute snapshot of Jamie snuggling up to baby James-Knight, who already boasts an impressive head of black hair.

He said: "Couldn't be any luckier ... Love my family. @jaime_king and my precious baby #JamesKnight (sic)"

The pair's fans rushed to congratulate them on their new arrival, cooing over the brown-eyed baby.

One wrote, "Oh he's just so cute! Lovely first pic!", while several pointed out how strongly he resembled the couple, with one follower chiming in, "Mamas nose and daddy's eyes! (sic)"

Jamie and Kyle, who have been married since 2007, have asked their pals Jessica Alba and Topher Grace - who they got close to on the set of 2010 movie 'Valentine's Day' - to be James-Knight's godparents.
