Dianna Agron still can't believe Cory Monteith is dead.

The 'Glee' actress starred as troubled cheerleader Quinn Fabray in the hit musical TV show until early 2013 and admits she finds it difficult to adjust to the idea of the late Canadian actor - who sadly passed away from a heroin and alcohol overdose last July - not being around anymore.

She told Britain's InStyle magazine: "It feels like your friend has lost their mobile phone and you can't call them. Or it's like he's on a long vacation and I just haven't heard from him. It's very strange."

Fans were shocked when Dianna didn't return for last autumn's special tribute episode to Cory, 'The Quarterback', sparking speculation she was feuding with the rest of the cast.

Determined to set the record straight, the 27-year-old star scoffed: "There is no merit to those rumours."

Although she misses the camaraderie of the popular FOX programme, 'The Family' actress is relieved to have moved on to movie projects because the 'Glee' filming schedule was intense.

Dianna explained: "It's sad to think that part of my life is over, but it's exciting to be doing new things. Plus, I'm happy to have found balance. The ['Glee'] hours were insane.

"Last summer, I went to a wedding back home in San Francisco. My friends said they were half expecting me to pull out at the last minute because that's the way it's been for the past few years."
