Cheryl Cole's husband bought £10,000 worth of red roses for their wedding party

The 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer and her new husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini celebrated their recent nuptials with a party for family and friends at The Library members club in London on Monday night 21st of July and the hunky businessman is said to have had the venue filled "from top to bottom" with flowers

A friend of the couple revealed: "The party was very special for Cheryl and JB, it was a chance to celebrate with their nearest and dearest. It was still a very small affair.

"Cheryl told the guests how in love she was and Jean pulled out all the stops with hundreds of red roses. He had done a similar thing for her 31st birthday and that went down really well."

The newly-married couple's guests - who included Cheryl's former Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, JLS's Marvin Humes and his The Saturdays singer wife Rochelle Humes - all dressed according to the monochrome theme while food was provided by the La Roche restaurant across the road.

Cheryl and JB also had a four-tiered wedding cake with flavours including Chocolate Oreo, lime and coconut.

One of Cheryl's guests told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It was beautiful. It was very low key. The speech was absolutely fabulous. Cheryl spoke of her commitment to Jean and how much she cared for him. She made sure she spoke to everyone in the room.

"We don't know Jean-Bernard that well but he seems a really lovely guy. He's made quite an impression."

Cheryl and JB got married during a secret ceremony on the Caribbean island of Mustique earlier this month after just three months of dating.
