Orlando Bloom wont tolerate Justin Bieber because he "doesn't respect women"

The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star allegedly tried to punch the 20-year-old singer at swanky at restaurant Cipriani in Ibiza in the early hours of this morning 30th of July because the 37-year-old actor thinks the Never Say Never hitmaker needs to be "put in his place"

An insider told HollywoodLife.com: "Orlando is not a violent person. In fact, he's all about promoting peace.

"However, he will not tolerate a person, Justin Bieber included, who doesn't respect women. He thinks Justin needs to be put in his place and Orlando is well aware that Justin has badmouthed him before."

An eye-witness who claims to have seen the 'Lord of the Rings' star's alleged swing at the 'Beauty and a Beat' hitmaker insists the actor deliberately didn't connect with the pop star.

They told the website: "In mid-throw Orlando realised what he was doing and pulled back, making it look awkward and something that didn't connect."

It is not known why the pair clashed by Justin has been linked to Orlando's ex-wife Miranda Kerr, and the singer sparked further speculation she was the reason for their altercation by posting a picture of the Victoria's Secret model on his Instagram account and then quickly deleting it.

What's more, in April 2014 Orlando had a meal with Justin's on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez.

On video footage of the alleged punching incident obtained by website TMZ, Justin can be heard shouting: "What's up b***h?"

TMZ also reported that Justin ducked the punch and quickly left the venue as other guests at the party started applauding the English actor.

As well as Orlando and Justin, other stars at the party at Cipriani included Paris Hilton and P. Diddy.

Orlando split from Miranda last October and has three-year-old son Flynn with the model.
