Simon Cowell was serenaded by Gloria Gaynor on a luxury holiday in Saint Tropez.

The 'X Factor' judge and his partner Lauren Silverman enjoyed an exclusive vacation on a superyacht in the South of France before being joined by the 'I Will Survive' hitmaker.

According to The Sun newspaper, the legendary songstress serenaded Simon, who was joined by friend and Topshop owner Philip Green and his fashion designer daughter Chloe as well as his 'X Factor' companion Sinitta.

The 64-year-old singer posted a photo from the day on her official Facebook page, which showed her embracing the music mogul with the caption "Just another day at work" superimposed on top.

Simon – who has six-month-old son Eric with Lauren - has recently called out on singers on 'The X Factor' judging panel, claiming panellists Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Mel B aren't looking to find great talent because they feel threatened.

Simon explained: "Singers don't want to find stars. It's not in their DNA. They only think about themselves. That is the nature of being a solo artist.

"I own a record label. So the only thing I'm interested in is finding a star."
