Jason Biggs wishes he could have lesbian sex on 'Orange is the New Black'.

The 36-year-old actor – who plays Larry Bloom in the comedy/drama series – has joked he would like his character to get more involved in the "craziness" in the prison drama, despite admitting he loves starring opposite Taylor Schilling, who plays his on-screen partner Piper Chapman.

During an appearance on chat show 'Conan' alongside his female co-stars Uzo Aduba and Taylor, he said: "I have prison envy. I'm not going to lie, I do. I will say this, I will say like these ladies have the ... I mean really seem to have the best time.

"I have the best partner in the world with Taylor Schilling. Most of my scenes are just with her. But I wish I could get to be in on the prison fun and craziness and lesbian sex."

While the star – who has seven-month-old son Sid with wife Jenny Mollen – insists he wants to play a crazier role in the show, he recently admitted enjoying portraying a mature character in 'Orange is the New Black' after becoming known for portraying awkward Jim Levenstein in the 'American Pie' film franchise.

Speaking about his part in the prison drama, he added: "It is different, I don't know whether I have a preference in general but for now, at this point in my life, it is preferable.

"I love that goofy comedy and I want to do more of it but for me right now I feel I personally grew up and for a while the roles I was doing haven't quite grown up with me and this is the first one where I feel like it has."

UK viewers can watch the cast of 'Orange is the New Black' being interviewed on Conan at 11pm, on truTV (freeview channel 68) - the home of larger than life characters in real situations.
