Jessie Ware almost "ruined" her now-husband's proposal by being "bossy".

The 30-year-old singer - who tied the knot with childhood sweetheart Sam Burrows in August - got engaged on holiday in Greece but initially thwarted Sam's attempts to pop the question.

She explained "I almost ruined the proposal because I'm a bossy cow. We were in Greece and he tried to propose the day before and there were some wasps where we were sitting so I was like, 'I can't be here.'

"Then the next day he wanted to walk down these stairs we'd just walked up and I told him, 'Babe, I've just schlepped up here, I'm not walking back down.' He said, 'We're taking the stairs' and that's when I thought, 'A-ha!' "

Jessie says their wedding day was very "special", but unconventional.

She recalled to Stylist magazine: "It was so special, Sam and I have been together for 11 years.

"It wasn't a formal wedding though - I walked down the aisle to 'Your Love Is King' by Sade and we sang Al Green songs instead of hymns.

"I have a speech because why do only men get to speak at weddings? My mother gave a speech too, as did my main of honour, who I thought was going to annihilate me but was actually really nice."

Ella Eyre takes up to three hours to do her hair.

The 20-year-old pop star has confessed that her signature barnet has become a burden as she is forced to spend hours preparing her curly locks every day.

When asked how long the voluminous style takes to arrange, she told BANG Showbiz: "On a good day about an hour and a half, on a bad day... two to three."

The 'Comeback' singer's trademark hairdo has become so high-maintenance that she has even hired an assistant especially to prepare it while she's touring.

She admitted: "My hair stylist is on the road with me.

"It's just got so big now that I can't maintain it on my own and if I want it to look any good I have to call in the crew."

And now that she has become known for her huge hairstyle, the Rudimental collaborator - who claims to have been growing her locks "since birth... bar a few extensions" - says she couldn't even think about getting rid of it.

She confessed: "It's definitely integral to who I am as an artist, it's part of my live show, you know, like I've got quite an animalistic style and way of performing and it's part of my show,

"I don't think I could ever shave my hair off, don't think I could ever do it, mainly because it's so curly it'd take it so long to grow it'd be heart-breaking."
