Scott Disick has claimed he and Kourtney Kardashian "haven't slept together in five years".

The 31-year-old reality TV star made the strange statement during a new episode of 'Kourtney And Khloe Take The Hamptons', despite the fact the couple already have two children - Mason, four, and Penelope, two - and are currently expecting a third child.

Scott's irrational outburst came during an argument with Kourtney, 35, in which she asks him to give her some space following his early return from rehab, where he went after nearly overdosing on a mixture of alcohol and pills.

He said: "It became like a 24-hour job to stay trying to get drunk, and stay trying to take pills and not think about life."

In response, Kourtney explained: "I just think this is gonna be like a long road of figuring everything out."

Clearly upset by Kourtney's reply, Scott said: "How much more space do you need?

"We haven't slept together in five years. What's the difference? Honestly, though. I mean, I love you, yeah, but..."

Refusing to back down, Kourtney replied: "I don't want to just fall back into the same routine.

"Trust me, would I love to just say, 'Yes, perfect, come back?' Like, I want to make a change to make it better, you know - figure out who you even are."
