Sam Claflin relies on his friends and family to bring him "back down to earth" if his life gets "crazy".

The 28-year-old actor – who is married to actress Laura Haddock – has admitted he loves to share his showbiz experiences with his pals and family members because he doesn't want to get too wrapped up in the industry and forget his loved ones.

Speaking in a video for the new 'CIROC On Arrival' campaign, for which he was captured by celebrity photographer Mario Testino, he said: “As much as I don’t think I’m necessarily 'in the spotlight', I have experienced flashes of craziness and also seen attention forced upon my peers.

"I consider myself hugely fortunate - not only do I have the opportunity to maintain a level of privacy, but know if things ever did get out of hand I have an incredible support network of friends and family who’d immediately bring me straight back down to earth.

"I share as many of these crazy experiences with my loved ones as possible. They make it all worth it.”

The star's latest achievement has seen him team up with premium vodka CIROC and Mario for the brand's latest campaign, and Sam admits to even be asked to be photographed by the snapper is a huge "privilege".

He added: “The campaign references Slim Aarons’ iconic intimate style of photography, he was known for documenting the private celebration moments of the rich and famous in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. I love this inspiration reference for the campaign, much like Mario’s work today – catching those intimate moments others tend to miss.”

“Having the opportunity to work with the best in the business is understandably one of the many reasons I continually feel so lucky. Mario Testino is undoubtedly one the world’s greatest photographers, and so to have him and CIROC choose me for this campaign is such a privilege.”
