    Jennifer Love Hewitt is pregnant.

The 35-year-old actress is said to be "thrilled" to be expecting her second child with husband Brian Hallisay - who she has 13-month-old daughter Autumn James with - later this year.

Her representative confirmed to PEOPLE magazine: "Jennifer and Brian are thrilled to be expecting their second child."

Jennifer previously praised Brian - who she wed in secret five days before giving birth to Autumn in November 2013 - for his support in the delivery room and joked he should start doing it for a living.

She said: “He should be a male doula. I was really worried that I was going to get that face, ‘Mmm, what’s happening here?’ - and I’m not good at the faces so I would’ve been like, ‘What does that mean? What does that mean!’

“But he was just like, ‘This is great. I am so proud of you right now. This is awesome, you look beautiful.’ I was really proud of him.”

The brunette beauty also recently admitted the first time she was expecting in 2013 she had to "avoid people" for the majority of her pregnancy because they were so rude.

She explained: "People are mean to you! You're like, 'I'm a pregnant lady. You can't be mean to me,' and they're like, 'Well, then tell us what your baby is!' and I'm like, 'I don't know.'

"And then they guess, which is insulting for the woman because they're like, 'Oh, well, you're really carrying in the backside.' I'm like, 'I have been carrying in the backside since I was 15. This is not pregnancy - it's just who I am!'

"Or they're like, 'It's really in your boobs!' And I'm like, 'Yeah, it's been there, too, since I was 15.' They say the dumbest things ...I just avoided people most of my pregnancy and after. And I was happy!"
