Priscilla Presley celebrated what would have been Elvis' 80th birthday with an eight-tier cake.

The 69-year-old actress - who was married to the 'Jailhouse Rock' hitmaker for six years until their divorce in 1973 - held a gathering at his Memphis estate, Graceland, to mark what would have been his birthday if he had not passed away at the age of 42 in 1977.

The business magnate was joined by the couple's daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, as well as Lisa's four children - Riley Keough, 25, Benjamin Keough, 22, and six-year-old twins Harper and Finley - with hundreds of fans also turning up to commemorate the musician's life.

Speaking to the crowd, Priscilla said: "My gosh, I'm in total shock. [Elvis] would have been amazed to see so many of you here.

"There's really nowhere else we'd rather be."

To mark the occasion, fans sang 'Happy Birthday' and were able to sample an eight-tier, gold-trimmed cake which was decorated with several images of Elvis' silhouette.

Aside from the Tennessee memorial, 'Total Recall' actress Jessica Biel, 32, treated her husband Justin Timberlake to a delicious breakfast in honour of the late star.

Sharing a snap online of pancakes made with peanut butter and bananas - which are said to have been two of the legend's favourite treats - the 'Mirrors' hitmaker praised his lover for celebrating the rocker's life with the tasty meal.

He wrote: "In honor of the KING's Bday, Wifey made your boy some PB and Banana Pancakes(with a little Blueberry for The Prez... Lol)!!! #PancakesForever (sic)."
