    Eddie Redmayne "stalked" Jennifer Aniston.

The 'Theory of Everything' star has admitted that he and wife Hannah Bagshawe were so desperate to meet the 45-year-old actress that they followed her around a room for a whole night until she noticed them.

He said: "My wife and I love 'Friends' and so we saw Jennifer Aniston at a party and we were just incredibly inappropriate and we were so wanting to meet her that we literally stalked about four metres behind her for an entire evening...

"Eventually she was like, 'OK?' Anyway, so we got to meet her and she was as beautiful and wonderful as you'd expect her to be."

The 33-year-old star also admitted that it was "breathtaking" meeting Julia Roberts at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last Sunday (25.01.15), where she handed him the prize for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in 'The Theory of Everything'.

Speaking of the experience on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he said: "[It was] pretty breathtaking. My dad's favourite film is 'Pretty Woman' so as a kid, at an inappropriate age, I was watching 'Pretty Woman'.

"So this moment happens when your name gets called out; it's such a sort of extraordinary euphoria and it's kind of white noise, it all goes into a sort of blur.

"And then suddenly, there I was sort of hugging Julia Roberts and then I was meant to be articulate and all I could think of was, 'I wanna tell my dad.' It was amazing. [My dad and I] had a long conversation afterwards."
