Chris Hemsworth finds Los Angeles "suffocating".

The 'Blackhat' actor recently relocated to his native Australia with wife Elsa Pataky, daughter India, two, and twins Tristan and Sasha, 11 months, and admits he doesn't miss being constantly surrounded by the movie industry.

He said: "We've been back for four or five months and it's amazing.

"Being in LA - and I can't complain about the place because it's given me so much - you're constantly reminded about the industry, every step you take down the street.

"There are billboards of films you're not in or want to be in or ones that you are in, everyone you know talks about the business and it's suffocating. Being back here this time, I really noticed the difference. You feel like a human being again."

Chris was voted People magazine's 2014 Sexiest Man Alive and he admits the accolade has helped his career.

He said: "The 'sexy' thing helps me stay employed and take care of my family.

"That's great, there are no complaints."

With his career, the Australian hunk hopes to emulate that of Leonardo DiCaprio, another former Sexiest Man Alive.

He told Total Film magazine: "The line-up of directors he's worked with is something to aspire to. God, I would dream to be in that position, he works with the best and is incredibly consistent."
