Khloe Kardashian is "very maternal" towards her half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

The 30-year-old star feels like a "mother lion" to her siblings and while she likes to treat them to enjoyable outings, which are often in the public eye, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' beauty tries to spend plenty of private time with the pair as well.

She said: "I'm definitely very maternal over them, I'm very protective. I always say I'm like the mother lion and they're my cubs.

"So I make a point for us three, especially. I just took Kendall to a basketball game, I try to still have very private things with them."

Khloe also admitted she respects her sisters Kim Kardashian West and Kourtney Kardashian taking time out of their busy schedules for themselves, revealing they never work on a weekend.

She said: "Kourtney and Kim don't work on the weekends at all and Kourtney takes Mason to school, that's her boundary.

"She doesn't start work until she's taken him to school. That's her boundary and she should have that."

Kim is delighted that her family's fans get the chance to experience their lives on their reality show 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' because it enables her to feel closer to her supporters.

In a joint interview with Khloe, Kim told ITV's Lorraine: "Every family member has a different journey and it's so fun that the fans get to be a part of it."

The raven-haired star has admitted on several occasions she and husband Kanye West are trying for another baby, and she would love the rapper to become a dad for the second time because he does a brilliant job with their 20-month-old daughter North.

She said: "He is very hands-on, he's a great dad and he loves her so much. On occasion [he changes diapers]."
