Olivia Wilde thinks it was "terrifying" being pregnant.

The 30-year-old actress - who has 10-month-old son Otis with her partner Jason Sudeikis - compared her "enormous belly" to a "horror movie".

Speaking about her new film 'The Lazarus Effect', she said: "I was doing reshoots for this movie... (at) eight and a half months pregnant and I was just so excited to be working that I was like, 'I'm gonna act the f**k out of this scene. I was so happy; I was like, 'Here I go. Still got it.'

"And the reason it's kind of framed oddly is because there's just this enormous belly, which is a whole other horror movie. I mean, the look of it... (Being pregnant) is really insane and terrifying. I recommend it."

Although initially admitting to being nervous about giving birth, Olivia couldn't help but gush about her little boy, despite the changes he makes to their daily routine.

She shared: "It is so much fun; it's amazing. He's wonderful...

"It's so funny how it changes your daily life especially like there's no such thing as leisurely brunch anymore. [We] used to go out for brunch and maybe take like an hour and a half to eat and now it's like, 'You hold him, you hold him, you hold him. Just let me eat this one thing.' It's a balancing act."

And Olivia is keen on having another two children as both her and her partner Jason are one of three siblings but she is waiting to make sure she can "keep one alive" first before getting pregnant again.

When asked on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart if they'd be adding to their family, she joked: "I'm part of three, he's part of three.

"I like the idea of that but if I can keep one alive, I'll be really proud of myself."
