Jamie Dornan is "committed" to a 'Fifty Shades of Grey' sequel.

The 32-year-old actor reportedly wants to continue his role as Christian Grey in the erotic film because it "benefits" his family.

A source shared: "It's quite the opposite and they (him and Dakota

Johnson) are both committed to the project because of the benefits to the family."

The Hollywood hunk was believed to have quit the role because his wife Amelia - with whom he has 15-month-old daughter Dulcie - was unhappy with him taking part in the films.

But an insider has claimed that the rumours have come from the time when, in a bid to ensure E. L. James - the writer of the novel on which the film is based - "loosens her grip", Jamie hinted he may exit if director Sam Taylor-Johnson was to go.

The source added to The Sunday Times newspaper: "Jamie has made it known that doubts could be in place if Taylor-Johnson exits, but it's just a ploy designed to put pressure on James and push her to loosen her grip.

"The truth is that Jamie plans to do all three and very much with the backing of his family."

Meanwhile, Sam recently hinted that Jamie had contractually signed up for all three movies, if they were to go ahead, after talking candidly about Charlie Hunnam's departure from the film.

She said previously: "Charlie and I were working really well together.

But signing up for one film is very different from signing up for a trilogy. As the process got bigger, I started to sense his fear.

"On the day he called me to say that he just couldn't do it, I knew it was coming, but it was very sad. But then, I truly believe Jamie was meant to be Christian Grey - so, things work out for a reason."
