Harry Styles is building an art gallery in his home.

The One Direction singer has an impressive collection of paintings and gun sculptures so wants to put them on display in his London home, and is even hoping one of his favourite street artists will personalise the room with a mural.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "He wants Bambi or Banksy to paint frescoes along one of the walls.

"An entire wall painted by Bambi would run into a five-figure sum, but that wouldn't faze Harry - and he knows how precious art is as an investment.

"The problem is that Bambi or Banksy won't reveal their identities to anyone, and going to Harry's house in person would compromise everything for Bambi."

The 21-year-old singer has been investing his fortune in art for some time and his collection is worth over £200,000.

Last year, he splashed out £20,000 on a series of raunchy prints emblazoned with sayings including "I will love you until the cold runs hot."

He also splurged £10,000 on a lamp designed by his jewellery designer pal Dominic Jones and artists Thomas Campbell and Joe Armitage - whose pieces are priced between $1,600 and $16,000 - in a bid to keep up with his fashionable friends including Kate Moss.

A source previously said: "Harry's got a real eye for style and takes decorating his pad very seriously. He might be away a lot with the band, but he wants to make sure his home is really classy.

"He wants to show off his art to family and friends and is proud of his collection."

He's also said to be a fan of taxidermy and has some of Rory Dobner's work proudly displayed in his home.
