Ed Sheeran is reportedly dating Barbara Palvin.

The 'Sing' hitmaker recently split from his long-term girlfriend Athina Andrelos but has reportedly already started seeing the 21-year-old Victoria's Secret model - who counts Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Bieber and Niall Horan among her former love interests - with the couple spotted hanging out together in Sydney.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Ed and Barbara looked relaxed and happy. They seemed to be enjoying each other's company and having a laugh. There was definitely a spark."

The romantic encounter happened just hours after the 24-year-old singer confirmed he had split from Athina, and revealed he was single during an interview on an Australian radio station.

When asked on breakfast radio show 'The Kyle and Jackie O Show' on KIIS 1065 if he was dating anyone, he said: "I wasn't single, I was in a relationship for a long time."

Host Kyle Sandilands then pressed him further on the subject to find out whether he was single, to which he confirmed: "Yes."

However, the four-time BRIT Award winner clearly isn't feeling pessimistic about love, as he was still prepared to surprise a couple by performing at their wedding reception in Australia this week.

Alongside a picture of himself with the happy couple on Instagram, he wrote: "Just surprised this lovely couples first dance. Available for weddings, birthdays and bar mitzvah's, contact your local super market for details (sic)."
