Dr. Phil McGraw thinks Bruce Jenner is too old to undergo a gender transition

The TV doctor was asked if he was upset he lost out to ABC's Diane Sawyer - who will be interviewing the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star - but joked if it had of been him, he would have spent the majority of the interview telling the 65-year-old former Olympian "what's the point".

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he said: "It would be boring to talk to me about that. First off, I would say, ‘Look. If it’s what you want to do ... do it! What the hell’s it matter what anybody else thinks?’

    That would be my point.

"That would the first 30 seconds and I guess we’d spend the next hour and fifty nine minutes saying, ‘You’re almost 80, what’s the point?’

This is a theoretical exercise, right? I don’t know. He’s kind of like past prime for like ... right?"

Meanwhile, in the latest teaser for Bruce's interview - in which he is expected to speak about his gender transition - the star admitted the chat was an "emotional rollercoaster".

He said: "It's going to be an emotional rollercoaster, but somehow I'm going to get through it...

"I wanna know how this story ends, you know? How does my story end?"

In a previous trailer for the two-hour long show entitled 'Bruce

Jenner: The Interview' - which airs tomorrow (24.04.15) night - the television personality was heard telling Dianne: "My whole life has been getting ready for this."
