Katie Price's bitter love rival Jane Pountney is set to write an explosive tell-all book

Jane, 50, was the best friend of the former glamour model at one stage, but their friendship collapsed after it emerged that she was involved in an affair with Katie's current husband Kieran Hayler, 28.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Until now, Jane has been in hiding. But revenge is a double-edged sword."

Jane is determined to get her side of the story across to the public, having watched the 36-year-old star put her own spin on the incident, and her book is expected to be released around the same time as Katie's seventh autobiography.

Last month, Katie said she was "glad" Jane's life is "ruined" and revealed that she is set to divorce her husband Derrick.

Katie - who has children Harvey, 12, Junior, nine, and Princess, seven, from previous relationships, and Jett, 19 months and Bunny, six months, with Kieran - said: "I know Derrick and Jane are divorcing. Whatever she did I will never forgive her, and I'm just so glad her life is ruined.

"It's weird, Derrick and I have never been angry at Kieran, it's more Jane we're shocked by. I think because she'd dramatically changed.

"I suppose we didn't know Kieran as well as Jane - I married him after five weeks. But we'd known Jane for 20 years.

"I think that's why there's more bad taste about Jane."
