Taylor Swift insists being a musician is "not that hard"

The 'Blank Space' hitmaker revealed she doesn't find it difficult being a touring superstar because she has lots of fun while on the road, but admitted there are lots of different on stage situations she has to "adapt" to, including accepting she won't look her best after an energetic, sweat-inducing show.

Speaking about being a performer, she said: "It's not that hard. I'm telling you right now, it's really not. I mean, you're performing in different kinds of things you have to adapt to, like you have to adapt to like what happens if it rains, you have to keep going even if you're feeling really sick. You have to accept the fact that at a certain point in the show you're going to start sweating so profusely that you don't look pretty and your hair is stuck to your face and that has to be OK with you. You have to like get used to when things go wrong, like your mic cuts out or when, you know, something in your show breaks and you have to kind of like think on your feet, but it's also sort of fun to do that."

The 25-year-old beauty continued to say plenty of perspiration helps her to feel like she's "actually working".

She told BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw: "It's amazing. It feels like you really worked for something which is the best part of this, when you walk off stage and you're drenched in sweat and you're tired and your legs hurt and your neck hurts from like thrashing your hair around and you've got another meet and greet after this, like you feel like you're actually working for your job. A lot of the time, like sometimes, I don't know, sometimes I don't feel like it's really that hard at all, and it's nice to feel tired after a show, like, god I'm really finally doing something."
