Kimberley Walsh will have eight bridesmaids at her wedding

The ex-Girls Aloud star is inviting her former bandmates Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nicola Roberts to be by her side on her big day, along with her two best friends from home, her two sisters and her beau Justin Scott's sister and daughter Chloe.

She said: "I know it's eight, but if you break it down there's no one who shouldn't be there. I either have hardly any or have them all, and there are no rules are there?"

Although Cheryl and Nicola will be there with her at the church, notable exceptions are their fellow Girls Aloud members Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding, who she rarely speaks to since the band ended in 2013.

She explained: "I'm not really in touch with Nadine to be honest.

"She's not in this country and we'd drifted apart. But I wish her well and it's good to see that she's managing to juggle it all.

"Sarah still texts a lot saying she's coming round. It's not happened yet! But she does really want to. She's constantly texting me at the moment because I think she feels like it's been a long time."

The 33-year-old singer and TV presenter - who got engaged to her boyfriend of 11 years last year just minutes after she delivered their 10-month-old son Bobby - insisted she will be having a low-key wedding when they tie the knot, despite the many famous faces which are expected to attend.

She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Fabulous magazine: "I don't have any desire to have a huge spectacle of a wedding."
