Angelina Jolie wasn't bothered when leaked Sony emails described her as a "minimally talented spoiled brat".

The 'By the Sea' filmmaker's first instinct when she heard about the jibe was to ensure then-Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairman Amy Pascal was "OK" after having her personal correspondence hacked and put online.

Angelina told the New York Times newspaper: ""There are certain things that bother me and certain things that don't. Personal attacks on me? I think I'm just so used to it.

"Honestly, my first instinct was that I was worried about Amy. I had someone call her and ask if she was OK.

"Not because I'm a saint, but because I think we have to look at the bigger picture. She's got kids. I knew it was going to unravel for her."

Amy - who stepped down from her post following the controversy - previously insisted Angelina was unconcerned by what was said about her because she understands Hollywood.

She said: "Angie didn't care. Everybody understood because we all live in this weird thing called Hollywood. If we all actually were nice, it wouldn't work."

In one of the leaked emails, Amy was involved in an exchange with movie producer Scott Rudin in which he made the jibe about the 40-year-old actress.

Angelina apparently wanted director David Fincher to be detached from the Steve Jobs biopic and instead be put in charge of her 'Cleopatra' movie.

The ex ecutive replied: "She is upset about us giving David Jobs. She wants to talk. She'll survive it. I don't want to waste my time on this."
